After an early night yesterday evening, this morning I woke up at 03:30, had my personal Reiki practice, and was ready at reception by 05.00. As usual, Rami was there waiting for us, and once the guys arrived we disembarked the cruise ship.
At the dock, we found two horse carriages waiting for us, and we were taken to Edfu temple, which was still closed at that time. Again, I was the very first person in the queue, ready to charge in.
One might argue, but “why the rush? The opening hours are quite flexible!”… Yes, for a traditional tourist, that makes a lot of sense, but for who, like us, is doing specific energy work, we try to find an quiet spot where we can meditate and receive insights and healing from that particular power point.
Once the gate was open, I jolted in, and made my way directly to the Holy of Holies chamber, I was the very first person to enter, and believe me… I will carry this experience with me. Coming in from the dark, towards this dimly lit room was simply humbling and immediately I was hit by a strong sense of authority and power.
In fact, our purpose in this temple was to charge our Solar Plexus – 3rd Chakra energy point, and holding my Mookaite Jasper palm stone, I manage to medidate for a good 10 mins in complete silence, and programmed the crystal with an “I am strong” affirmation. All throughout this special moment, I was seeing a blinding yellow light, which is related to the Solar Plexus Chakra.
When the normal tourists started making chaos, we decided that it was now time to move, and we went by the side to enjoy the sunrise over the temple, and Oh God!, the universe blessed us with a beautiful Christmas present… you could feel the penetrating energy all throughout your body.
Egypt is truly amazing, and we are blessed that we have more waiting for us!
