Day 9 – Dendera & Abu Simbel Temples

The most energetically demanding day so far.

Skipping the parts involving all the driving, today we visited two of the most important temples in our expedition, and no wonder some people suggested for us to separate on more days since the energy shift from one temple to the other was overwhelming.

Once at Dendera, you are welcomed immediately by a warm centering feeling, and no wonder, since this temple is dedicated to Hathor, Goddess of Love, Music and Fertility. As you can imagine, our aim was to balance the 4th Chakra at this point, and holding our Rose Quartz/Green Aventurine palm stone, we made sure to find a suitable space where to stop and meditate.

When we finished the meditation, we managed to visit the “Crypts” underneath the temple, and in one of them the above image of what seems to be lightbulbs is portrayed.

My theory after visiting this temple is that the baby that was depicted in some images being nurtured by Hathor is not Horus, but his son… or daughter. For some reason beyond me, the child had to be hidden.

In Dendera, one can also find one of the very first depictions of the Zodiacs, or indeed a copy, since Napoleon Bonaparte decided to take the original to France.

From Dendera, we started driving towards Abydos. Once there we had lunch at a very special place which was the house of Omm Sety, a British Lady who lived there and was also a Healer claiming that she was a reincarnation of a priestess in old Egypt. I purchased some copper “memorabilia” for my altar, and it was now time for the temple.

Abydos Temple is dedicated to God Osiris, responsible for the Afterlife, and no wonder since this temple’s energy is not for the faint hearted. Heavy energy from start to finish, I could not even smile for photos. Even the attendants were not joyful at all.

In this temple, apart from working on my 5th Chakra – Throat, I had a target to resolve certain internal struggles related to reserves towards my father, so my intentions in this particular temple were quite clear.

Going around the temple, we noticed the 7 Gates, this time separate in difference to Karnak, and the temple is designed like a maze. In the backyard of the temple, there is a secondary structure called Osirion, where some believe that there is a portal for Atlantis.

In my honest opinion, Abydos is like a massive “Central Train Station ” where beings from all dimensions use portals to and from the place. My only regret in this temple is that we did not have the opportunity to go down the Osirion structure, but I am sure that it will happen soon!

This morning I woke up coughing to what seems to be residues from my smoking past…

Onto the next stop, back to Cairo,
