The Sunrise we made sure to see but never happenned…

Mastering the art of Surrender, and understanding that “It is what it is!”

Goodmorning! We woke up very early, after a very unique “sleep”, to experience the sunrise in the desert. I skipped Reiki, got my equipment and scouted the area for the best vantage point.

After walking around for about 20 mins, we settled for a high rock, put up my tripod so that we can record a nice time lapse video as a memory and started the Gayatri Mantra to accompany the magical moment.

After 15 mins of recording, we noticed that the orange lights moved to a different place, so I stood up, changed the direction of the phone and again pressed the record button. Again we started the meditation… well, Tamer could have made a mistake and the sunrise will happen later…

But then it struck, another 15 mins waiting, the desert was already well lit and there was still no sun… the clouds covered our magical moment, and a sense of delusion was unanimous since we were waiting for this moment even before we left Malta.

At that point, one might ruin the rest of the day (or trip) complaining and moaning that we did not manage to enjoy this activity, or else understand that we did not have any control over the situation, accept it the way it was and still enjoy the full magic of the moment.

Upon practicing the latter option, we noticed that we had experienced one of the most dramatic sunrises ever, since the mix of the clouds, and the colourful rays coming out through them was simply a natural masterpiece which most probably is even a rarer occurrence.

Indeed we were lucky, and blessed by the Universe.

Paying Forward the Blessings,

CB
